ALMA News: Newsletter Charter, Advertising and Editorial Policies ALMA News is emailed 4x per year according to the schedule below. In addition there will be show bulletins to communicate additional information about symposia when appropriate. Issue 1: March
Member News: All members are encouraged to submit news of a commercial nature for inclusion in the member news section. Submission is not a guarantee of publication. Email your news releases to management@almainternational.org. Technical Articles: Members are invited to submit material of a detailed technical or business nature that they believe will be of interest to our readers. We advise you to contact the editor to obtain an agreement in principal before spending large amounts of time writing an article. Such technical articles should not be overly commercial. The editor reserves the right to edit any contribution for length, style or to remove overt product references to the newsletter without notifying the author. Whether or not something is published, the exact words published, and when it is published is at the sole discretion of the editor. In many cases, only a portion of the story will be published in the newsletter with a link to the full version on the ALMA website. Compensation: ALMA News does not pay either cash or payment-in-kind for any contribution to its newsletter. Editorial contributions are judged only on their editorial merit, and all advertising is paid for. Advertising Policy Full members may advertise at the member rate. Individual members and non members may advertise at the non-member rate. Where there is limited space, members will be given priority over non-members, and in order of receipt of their applications for advertising space.
