2010 Winter Symposium Panel Discussion - Review

What are you Comparing Yourself Against to Measure Success?

Moderator: Spiro Iraclianos, Harman

Panel Discussion SpiroPanel Discussion Panel

Comparing oneself against oneself can provide positive short term results until outside influences reveal the flaw in that logic.  In order to consistently and adequately evaluate and determine the level of success, a firm foundation or framework must be established to provide a robust assessment.  Previously acknowledged and widely accepted measures of comparison, or standards, provide criteria for arriving at both quantitative and qualitative values for calibrating the effectiveness of output.  Excellence can be achieved by understanding the standards that are applicable to methods employed and products produced for any given endeavor.  Join us in examining and discussing standards and determine how you can benefit by embracing them in your area of the Loudspeaker Industry.

Each panelist provided a short overview of their specialist area before a lively discussion took place.
