Area of Expertise: Production Acoustic Testing

Todd Beauchamp has worked in acoustic and electronic system design for 16 years, and currently manages the acoustic lab and production line testing for Apple’s iPod Division. Prior to joining the Apple team, Todd started In2Audio, an electronic and acoustic design house which provided complete design and measurement services for the pro-audio, home, automotive and military industries. Through this, he has filed for several design patents. Before starting In2Audio he worked at American Technology Corporation, where he was responsible for research and development of ATC’s cutting edge technologies including PureBass® woofer systems, HyperSonic® Sound, Planar Magnetic applications and HIDA™/LRAD™, ATC’s military non-lethal and hailing devices in which he is the co-inventor. In addition, he has played a key role in developing several other proprietary technologies as well as designing production processes for all of the companies’ audio products. Mr. Beauchamp’s experience includes electrical and acoustical system design, measurement control testing, reliability and environmental testing, military project coordination, and developing production process controls.
