LabVIEW programmer – Acoustic/Audio Test Software, Paid Summer Internship. Location: Boston, MA Options

Listen Inc. is seeking an engineering or computer science student for a summer 2010 internship. The position will involve development work on SoundCheck, our flagship acoustic test platform. This is an extremely large commercially available LabVIEW application with a 15 year track record and annual new releases.

This position involves developing new features, improving, reviewing, and de-bugging existing code, testing code, and interfacing with management.

The successful candidate will be working towards a bachelors, masters or doctorate degree in an engineering or computer-related subject and have some LabVIEW programming experience. In addition, the ability to work well in a small team and a willingness to discuss your own and other people’s ideas is important. Previous experience or an interest in acoustics, recording, or sound and vibration is an advantage

Applicants must have authorization to work in the US as we are unable to assist with visa / work permit applications. This position is paid, but Listen is unable to assist with relocation or accommodation. This is a temporary position for approximately 3-4 months, but there is some flexibility in the length and dates of the position.
