This standards list needs to be reviewed and updated. Lets get a discussion going on this.

I think it would help to first decide on the organization of the list. The original list was organized mainly be governing body, but with the multitude of standards, I propose topic-based organizations. Here's a rough proposal:

  • Loudspeaker Test & Measurement
  • Acoustical
  • Electrical/Magnetic
  • Mechanical
  • Loudspeaker Component Measurement
  • Materials
  • Drafting
  • Wire
  • Reliability
  • Environmental
  • Durability
  • EMI/EMC
  • Miscellaneous
