MISSION STATEMENT

To provide a worldwide loudspeaker industry forum for the exchange of technical and business information of practical value. To develop standards, practices and educational programs on practical subjects related to loudspeakers.

ALMA Provides a Loudspeaker Industry Forum by:

Offering an opportunity for networking among members.  Creating a marketplace where buyers and sellers can convene.  Educating the public through timely and effective communications to governments, businesses, the media, academia, ALMA members and other appropriate audiences.  Collecting and disseminating information pertinent to the industry, for example patents, regulations, standards and other legal matters affecting the loudspeaker industry. 

ALMA Develops Loudspeaker Manufacturing Standards by:

Establishing, publishing and promoting technical standards for use in designing and manufacturing loudspeakers and loudspeaker components

ALMA Educates by:

Working with Universities and other Institutions to develop educational programs on subjects related to loudspeakers, such as design, development, manufacturing and testing; promoting student membership; and providing training and seminars to our membership.
