CLIO 10, synthesis of all previous releases, introduces new, state of the art, approaches to complex topics like Quality Control with its Fast-Track™ R&B testing. For R&D lab applications CLIO 10 is also capable of automating two-turntables data collection for executing 3-D directivity measurements; results are presented as 3-D graphs also known as "balloons" and may be exported to common formats for integration in external simulation software packages."

Klippel QC provides new features for end-of-line-testing: Full ambient noise immunity can be realized by repeating corrupted measurements automatically and merging undisturbed parts into a complete response. Motor and Suspension Check (MSC) and other new diagnostic tools are developed to identify the cause of defects (voice coil offset, rubbing coil, particles, ...) and to decrease the rate of rejection. KLIPPEL R&D provides additional tools for analyzing scanning data of woofers, tweeters, headphones, compression drivers and micro-speakers. AmpConnect can be fully integrated and controlled by SoundCheck. Listen will also be demonstrating SoundMap, its time frequency analysis software. SoundMap is ideal for impulse response analysis and detection of loose particles and Rub & Buzz in loudspeakers. Its detailed analysis in both the time and frequency domain, and four different analysis make it far more flexible than conventional 'waterfall plot' software, and includes more accurate and psy­choacoustically significant analysis options.
