exhibit_hallThe ALMA 2006 Symposium, ‘The Challenges of Purchasing in Today’s Global Marketplace’ was held on Jan 3-4 at the Tropicana Hotel in Las Vegas. Over 100 attendees spent an interesting couple of days networking with others in the industry, attending standard committees, technical paper sessions, training courses, looking at the latest products and technologies, and of course, the round table discussion.

The Round Table and Panel Discussion: 'The Challenges of Purchasing on Today’s GlobalMarketplace' offered an interesting insight into the challenges facing purchasing and engineering personnel as they struggle to meet the challenges of global sourcing.

Training Sessions, Tutorials and Invited Technical Papers included training sessions on Spectral Analysis, Loudspeaker 101. invited papers on the CEA2010 standard, electroacoustic testing, new loudspeaker designs, voice coil temperature measurement.
